at support group

every one that has been here a while knows i am a

cronic complainer .. i had a vomitting problem, ended

up being a stricture.. closing between the potch and

the intestines..

well at thursday night support group a gal a week

before had surgery complained of the same thing we had

spoken before and she called her doc etc.. they said

not to worry its normal. no its not .

it progressed to now she is vommitting blood. she has

gained a ulcer in the same area i have .. i went over

to her and told her we are going the emregency.. fyi

being a bariactric patine they cannot treat you with a

endoscopy, butt they can call a surgeon or treat for

dihydration.. they didn't they just sent her home...

but that got her hubby to get on the phone call the

endoscopy doc rthat did mine and seen it was covered

by ensurance and hopfully she will not have a

problem..

my point it.. i read a part of somones mail and

complained about this support group.. i deleted it and

thought a real support group will support go give

advise and if need be go tot he hospitol.. i have

seen many ones who had surgery in the hospitol and

like wise many in my support group.. we take names

down and have a huge calling list if there is no

problem...

while we were at the emergency the gal had the main

support group organizer and myself there..does any of

you have such a support group that checks in and looks

after your fellow bariactric folks.. we are in

ventura, california and you can call any time to join

are support cause it does give you support.. or in my

case puts me in check for what i am doing wrong..lol
