Debbie--please be careful--Levaquin has a high incidince of causing c. difficile. Ask if you can switch to Cipro same class of abx, less chance of c.diff.

Debbie,

Can you eat beets? The Naturopath I used to go said to eat plenty

of beets or include them in your juicing, if you do that. There isn't a

LOT of iron in beets but apparently it's a particularly easy to

assimilate form of it. If you use it in juice my advice is, not too

much. It's a really strong flavor, for me at least, and not one I want to

have by itself. But then, I am not real fond of beets in any form,

given a choice. But it beats iron pills.

Thanks for any ideas on avoiding iron supplements, etc.
