Guest guest
I have been using fitday.com to keep track of my eating and I like the way you can include exercise, customize foods, etc and its Free! I usually write things down since I don't carry my computer around with me:) and then I enter my foods in fitday later. So I guess in a way I have two journals but I love being able to calculate percentages of protein and calories on fitday. Its worth the extra time! ALSO here's what my nutrionist told me last week. If you set a goal for yourself on fitday and start to get away from it then reset it!!! She said that you should set a realistic goal of how many pounds per week you want to lose and if you have a plateau or slow down then RESET your goal. Either push the target date back or change the weight you want to be at at that date. She said you'll lose more in the long run if you keep your goals realistic and don't get discouraged if you don't make it to your original goal. You'll make it--just not as quickly as you wanted.
