Guest guest
, I'm having surgery for sleep apnea June 23rd (Lefort I, BSSO, geniotubercle advancement and partial turbinectormies). When I have problems with braces, I not only use the wax, but dab peroxide on sore and rinse with salt water. The last problem lasted about two weeks. Since I have a large crown on a back molar, the bracket sticks into my mouth and the tonque kept getting caught on it. I will let everyone know how it goes with the surgery. How long have you had your braces on? The doc tells me a year unless they move more than anticipated.I am scheduled for a maxillo-mandibular advancement. Good luck on your surgery ....I'll be watching for details on your recovery.
