TT & thighs

I had my TT 11/95. Had the full meal deal. Tightened the upper muscles, rebuilt

my entire waist area (inside), anchor sorta cut, but the bottom one looks like a

W,kinda? Starts fairly high on hip, then down into groin, forms neat circle

over, you know. Very tight. even after 8 yrs. I'd give the TT a 10 on 1-10. Of

course, the rest of me doesn't go with it, but I've got the tummy of my dreams.

Just wish I'd had it 40 yrs sooner.

Thighs could use help, but not enough for me to actually DO it.

Can you guys who've done both do a quick summary of what kinds of incisions you

had, healing, maybe rate your results?

Thanks,

I had my TT and a little thigh lift on 08/22. I'm only two months

out. Healing was fine - my scars are that nice purplish color, but

very thin. It's high on each hip, it's like a smile with a stroke -

it has a funny dip on the right side. My musculature in my abdomen

was all tweaked, but the skin above my navel is not tight - not

problematic, just not tight! He is very proud of the way my natural

waistline turned out, and my new navel is too cute LOL! On my thighs,

he cut out about a 3-4 inch section from the inside, and lipo's the

outside. The incision is on each thigh, high up in my panty line.

It's probably wider than the TT scar, but I know I stressed it more

moving up and down. My legs aren't tight either, but I was more than

ready for the TT, and still losing. I shouldn't have done the legs,

but I figured if I did what I could at that point, they wouldn't be

unbearable later. As far as recovery, I was showering and dressing my

incisions by day 4 without assistance and remodeled my boys bedrooms

three weeks later, but I tend to be a very fast healer.

Ok......I had pretty much EVERYTHING done this past summer. (the face, the neck,

the eyes, the boobs, the arms, the stomach, the thighs and the back) Some of

you may remember I was VERY apprehensive about my thighs. I had heard nothing

but horror stories. Up until 4 days before I was going to cancel. But had a

heart to heart talk with my DOC. and I went ahead with it. I had the stomach

and thighs done at the same time and I can tell you....I couldn't be happier

with the results. I was so prepared for all the pain and discomfoort of having

the thighs done----it was not bad at all. My thighs look wonderful. The

incision only goes down about 3 to 4 " and the other incision is right in my

groin. I am already swimming cometitively and unless someone is really looking

at my crotch !!!(how dare they!) there is no way to tell I have had surgery.

HOWEVER-----lets talk about the arms. If I had to do it all over again----I

think I would re-think that particular surgery. They still

bother me and it has been 3 months. I hate the scar and will probably always

wear 3/4 length sleeves. The upside to it all is this----I have no more loose

skin---at all---nada, zip, nothing. And you cannot put a price tag on that. To

keep it that way I exercise and swim---alot. And will forever---a small price

to pay to look good but more importantly is how I feel. An addendum to all

this----I healed very quickly and I feel as good as I do because of PROTEIN !!!!

My Doc now has me talk to all his WLS plastic surgery patients about protein

over-loading prior to surgery. I am here to tell you----IT WORKS!!!!
