Guest guest
Wow, , what great news from your OD! Sorry to hear about your continuous tongue pain - does this new Dr. know why you are in such pain? I've never heard of a painful but numb tongue before - maybe they'll name this phenomenon after you and you'll go down in history; too bad you couldn't be famous for something good and positive though. Take care - I'm sure this new guy will find the answer to the problem and really fast too. ~~~ Diane > Hi everyone > > Time for my update. Guest guest
Michele, I'm sorry to hear that your pain is so bad. It sounds like you're in the right place to get the best help possible. I hope that your new doctor is able to help you. Take care, Carol > Hi everyone > > Time for my update. I am still having a great deal for pain with my > numb tongue. I Saw a new Dr yesterday. Guest guest
Michele, Even though I haven't posted back to you in a while I wanted you to know that I have often thought of you and prayed that your doctors would find a cure for your tongue pain/numbness or that your tongue would eventually reawaken. Am still keeping my fingers crossed for you but I'm glad to hear that at least you get some satisfaction by having your braces taken off soon. You've been through so much. You deserve a proper pick me up and finally being able to show off that pearly white smile sounds grand to me. And I think I will cry the day they take the braces off of me too. They seem to have been a permanent fixture of my life since I was born. I know I'm exaggerating but you know what I mean. Get well soon and keep us posted on your progress with the tongue pain. Sending you a huge hug, Sara
