Guest guest
Yeah Becky, I didn't really understand how I could eat pasta without chewing which is why I specifically asked whether I could chew or not. I guess what he meant was that I can swallow pasta pieces now because there is no risk that it will get stuck in my teeth since I can brush them a little better now. I don't know! These doctors are confusing. Not that swallowing pasta whole really makes for a tasty meal. I can tell you this, despite having the go-ahead for soft foods I was still too scared tonight to try something soft. I ended up blenderizing philadelphia cream cheese with italian cooked ham. Not the yummiest thing I've ever had and it definitely got rid of my craving. Tomorrow i think I shall try mushed up cookies with milk. The problem is that I still can't open my mouth very wide and I'm the kind of person that when I eat I put the whole spoon in my mouth so right now, with only being able to fit part of the spoon, the most i can manage is liquids. Aghhhh, who ever thought eating could be so stressful? I tell you, this is one heck of a weight loss program that I never thought I would have to go through.
