Guest guest
Mags, I wonder if it's the type of iron you've tried rather than just any iron that causes the symptoms. When I had my original RNY, I had spent a fortune on virtually every OTC iron out there, as suggested by my first WLS, and every one made me sick. It was a year later, when Dr. Gagner did my transection, that he gave me the scrip for Niferex. I told him that iron makes me sick, he said, " This one won't, " and he was right. Guest guest
Oh wow.. thanks all... I was overwhelmed so far with replies to this. To add to this with more questions, I'm just wondering if it's a commmon occurance after surgery, and for those ladies who are still of that childbearing age, I know I was told to get in ferrous sulfate, but since I can't handle it, I'm just wondering how are you getting in that?? Should I be asking my primary to do some tests or prescribe to me? I'm sorry if I seem like I'm asking some dumb questions here, but I'm amazed that I am getting answers for a change!! *G* Thanks again in advance, Mags
