Taking next step and questions

Hi all,

I'm new to the group. I posted the 1st time earlier this week. I recently

started researching WLS. I have decided to go the next step. I have made

an appointment with a bariatric surgeon and found out what my insurance

requires to cover the insurance. The hardest (longest) part is 6 months of

doctor supervised weight loss. I already have 2 months of that and August

10th will be 3 months. My 1st appointment is set for October 25th. The

office staff indicated that I am looking at January for the surgery. I have

some questions that some of you may be about to answer.

Does anybody have Type2 Diabetics? When you had the surgery did you have

complications with healing and what effects has the surgery had on your

diabetics and medicine? I am controlled by oral meds and diet.
