Guest guest
I'm not sure if someone on the group sent this article. It's been on my computer for a bit. Do we not get enough amino acids by not eating grains?I think this only makes sense for a vegetarian. We get plenty of amino acids from nuts, meat, eggs, dairy, etc... Guest guest
Amino Acids make up protein. The best sources are meat, seafood, eggs and dairy. So we are definitely getting enough amino acids without grains :)Kathttp://scdkat.com I'm not sure if someone on the group sent this article. It's been on my computer for a bit. Do we not get enough amino acids by not eating grains? http://www.detox-guide.com/legumes.html We have to take note that consuming these beans, lentil and peas do not provide enough amino acids even though we get high amounts of protein. In such case, we would want to consume more whole grains to compensate the amino acids. The synergistic effect is the protein lacking in whole grains can also be compensated by eating legumes. Therefore, their combination works very well for our body’s function.UC-C 12/09SCD 1/10Daily, CLO, Magnesium, bromelain, acidophilus Mom of 2 crazy monkeys :-)
