Guest guest
There are 2 things that come to mind and I realize that they well sound like cliche's. Number 1 - Just Do It. Number 2 - Fake it until you make it. I have the hardest time in the world motivating myself to be motivated. Does that make sense? I find that I just have to do something no matter how small. One of the first things I did this summer was to get rid of the sugar, cakes, brownies, cookies, mashed potatoes, crackers, etc. That in and of itself helped me drop 4 lbs. The other thing that tends to help is doing the protein fast thing. There are a couple of ways to do this. One is to do only protein shakes for 1 to 3 days then start adding back edible protein. The other way to do this is to limit your food intake to protein only for 1 to 3 days and then start adding a little bit of veggies and fruit. My mood gets a little wierd when I am coming off of the carbs. This is when the fake it til I make it comes in. I keep thinking myself into a positive attitude by being positive. It takes some work but I have to act as if. Lori Owen - Denton, Texas SRVG 7/16/01 Dr. Ritter/Dr. Bryce On Tue, 14 Oct 2003 19:10:45 -0000 " persephone_628 " writes: > I just joined the list today.
