Surgery one year ago today!

Hello to my fellow June '04 Surgery Buddies (AJ, Ray, Dammit, etc.),

Cammie, and to the entire board! Hope and trust that all is

well with you and yours!

One year ago, at this time, I was in surgery to correct my

underbite. The top was moved forward and the bottom jaw was moved

back and I am so very pleased with the results. I had an easy go of

it and this board gets part of the credit for that. From reading all

the post, I was well prepared going in to the surgery and knew

basically what to expect after the surgery. Thanks to all of you,

especially and Cammie!

My braces were removed in February and I am now in retainers. Along

with myself, my surgeon, orthodontist and dentist are all pleased

with the outcome. I do have some tingling in my lower left chin and

some numbness on the inside of my cheeks, but all this is slowly, and

I do mean slowly, getting better.

ops and newbies. Hang in there!

Hi Dale,

Good to hear from you again and glad to see that everything's turned

out so well for you. I was also part of the June 2004 group, my date

was June 16. Can't believe a year passed already!
