Guest guest
Hi Gang A friend of mine read the new reports on obesity and was trying to figure out her bmi and asked me to do it. For the life of me, I forgot how to do it. She weights 189 and is 5 ft 3 in tall. Help! Thanks Sherry in Knoxville TN
Guest guest
I think the formula is her weight (189) X 700, divided by her height in inches (63), then divided by her height again, so... 189 x 700 = 132,300 132,300\63 = 2100 2100\63 = 33.33 BMI There are more complicated formulas that may be a touch more accurate, but this is the one that's easiest for me to remember. Of course, if you're online, you can go to Obesityhelp.com, or most medical & weight loss sites will have the calculators. in NJ ************************ > Hi Gang > > A friend of mine read the new reports on obesity and was trying to > figure out her bmi and asked me to do it.
