Guest guest
Hi everyone I've been on SCD about 6 months and lots of things have been improving including regularity, less hiatal hernia problems, improved absorption, much needed weight-gain, etc. however, i think my adrenals and blood sugar (hypoglycemia) are getting worse. my main symptom is shakey-ness and agitation. i also get tired a lot. anyway, i had a few questions about how to help my adrenals, which i think will help my blood sugar. 1. Is ginseng legal? looking at past emails it seems like some people took it, but when i emailed i think it was freeda vitamins they said they dont think their gingseng supplement is legal. but they could just be saying that cause they're not sure. ? 2. How can i keep my blood sugar from dropping, usually 1.5-2 hrs after a full meal and then it rises back up on its own within the next hour? this is reactive-hypo from what i understand. right now i eat about 2-3 oz meat, 2 cups cooked veg, and 3-4 tbs fat per meal. no fruit or sugary things like that... 3. Anything else i could or do take to help heal the adrenals? I'm 25 so tonight i'm feeling sorry for myself that i have adrenal issues, haha but i know it's sometimes part of celiac disease Thank you for any advice!! you guys have taught me so much already Whitney
