Glad to hear your home and doing well. I wholeheartedly agree with you about

going to a specialized hospital and staffing. I did just that myself and

feel the same way you do. I had excellent care by nursing staff that were

trained and dedicated to bariatric patients. Everything on my floor was

specially

designed for us and made our stay much more comfortable.

Hey Celeste,

Glad to see your at home now. Your tips are very important to all

and shouldn't be taken lightly. I had heard that they fill the

belly with air to get around inside...Are you referring to this type

of gas? A friend had her tubes tied after giving birth and I

remember the pain she was in afterwards. Just curious, where did

you have your surgery? I know the area you live and wondered if you

had to go into a bigger city to have it done. Hope you continue to

do well and keep posting to let us know how you are doing.

Welcome home Celeste. Glad you are doing okay. All the things you

said are true. I went to docs that only do GBS and a section of the

hospital is set aside for those patients, so all the nurses are

specialized. One of my nurses had had the surgery 2 yrs previously,

and gave some very good insights.
