Guest guest
YOU PEOPLE ARE WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for suggesting the protein shakes. Since I have been using them, my enegry level is climbing all the time. I take in 2-3 shakes a day now and I can't believe the difference. It took a couple of days (about 10 days) for the change in energy level to happen, but it did. Count me as one of the protein shake believers!! Another wonderful thing.... I am losing weight again!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you, ***BIG HUGGS*** kathy ******************************************* The woods are lovely, dark, and deep, But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep. Guest guest
Michele, My favorite was ProV 60 but recently I opened a new jug and it tastes way too sweet. I really love vanilla anything and I use to drink this straight at times but now I guess I'll be looking for a new vanilla. Does anyone know if they've changes the ingredients on ProV 60 or is it just me? > for vanilla protein powder. What is your favorite vanilla brand? Guest guest
I use ProV60 vanilla for my " mixer " . It's good enough that I can drink it straight (water, ice, powder), but it's perfect for a mixer because it's not too strong or sweet. My favorite thing to add to the vanilla is a little Spiced Chai syrup and Cool Whip. YUMMY!! Hmmm ... it's just about time for a shake now, think I'll dig out my Spiced Chai syrup. ---------------------------------------- Terry Mayers 5DollarHosting.com http://www.5dollarhosting.com .... because it shouldn't cost a fortune to make a fortune! Protein Shakes Thanks to all who responded to my question on protein shakes. I tried my first one today (Champion Nutrition Pure Whey stack Chocolate). It wasdn't too bad. Tomorrow I will try the ProScore 100 chocolate. I divided each sample in half so that I could try it a few times before I decide. sent me a lot of recipes that sound wonderful that call for vanilla protein powder. What is your favorite vanilla brand? I will order a couple of different kinds to try before I order the jug. I have only been on this list for a short time, but have gained alot of knowledger and food for thought from your posts. Hope everyone is warm and healthy! Guest guest
I know that this is going to sound weird, but one day I was thinking about that old tv show Laverne & Shirley (Penny Marshall was on tv in something else) and I remembered that Laverne drank milk & Pepsi together. I don't know why I did it, but I dumped some flat Diet Coke that had been sitting around in the fridge into my shake cup instead of the water and used vanilla powder and it was actually good! lol. I've tried root beer & orange too and they're both good, the orange & vanilla together is especially good in the summer. ---------------------------------------- Terry Mayers 5DollarHosting.com http://www.5dollarhosting.com .... because it shouldn't cost a fortune to make a fortune! Re: Protein Shakes Hi Michele - Sometimes I'll use vanilla with diet rootbeer (dead) pop or diet orange (dead) pop (which is the only time I've ever drank pop since I never liked it to begin with presurgery). I've also mixed it with my DaVinci SF syrups. YUMMY. Tina (jelly bean toes) & Sheriff too! Protein Shakes Thanks to all who responded to my question on protein shakes. Guest guest
Not at all weird. I grew up in Wisconsin and they have an ice cream float there made with Coke or Pepsi and vanilla ice cream...it is called a " black cow " and they are delicious. So sounds to me like you made yourself a diet black cow protein shake :-) ~Kricket > I know that this is going to sound weird, but one day I was thinking about > that old tv show Laverne & Shirley (Penny Marshall was on tv in something > else) and I remembered that Laverne drank milk & Pepsi together. Guest guest
Favorite vanilla- Isopure zero carb. Recipes are the best-I find the shakes boring unless I can doctor them with ice/fresh or frozen fruit/vanilla extract, etc... Guest guest
Yes. Root beer + a blop of ice cream is a RB float. When you whirl it with ice, it's a freeze. Since I can't make protein ice blops, a freeze will hafta do. LOL! Thanks, Vitalady, Inc.
