It's illegal and I believe the reason is that up to 2% of additional sugars are

allowed to be added in the processing. This is why there are a lot of processed

products that are illegal even if their labels appear legal, such as canned

tomatoes.

You could write the manufacturer about this, but until then, it is illegal

without written evidence otherwise.

It's illegal because using the concentrated form of the juice is a way to concentratesugars. In other words, the syrup is sweet out of proportion to the original product, asopposed to cider, etc.For instance, my nieces drink Kedem regular grape juice all the time (SCD illegal)which is pure grape juice made with juice concentrates. When they tastedthe Kedem organic, which is legal, they made faces and said it tasted like wine,i.e., unsweetened.MaraHi.
