Guest guest
Hi..I just joined this site and already find it helpful. I had my braces put on the beginning of March/o5.I have Sleep Apnea due to the position of my lower jaw so I am booked for surgery next March unless the teeth move into position sooner. The braces are getting a little easier to deal with except when they change the wires. But if anyone has a suggestion about the cuts on the inside of the mouth I'd love to hear it....the wax doesn't always help.I am also curious as to the average weight loss post op...I've heard 20-50 lbs.Anyway I would appreciate anything you have to tell me about what lies ahead. Guest guest
I have lost 21 pounds, but I am told that is not the norm. You can expect to lose 10 to 20 pounds, but I think 50 is stretching it a bit. I have been wired shut for 6 weeks, and I can't imagine losing 50 pounds. Losing the 21 pounds has been a surprise even. > Hi..I just joined this site and already find it helpful.
