Thanks for the reply. We got the band adjusted today and it seems to have

relieved the pressure in the top front area. The ortho did not seem too

concerned, and said the slight ridge will go away. I sure hope that does not

happen again, and that he can wear the band to complete his treatment. Its only

been a week but I could see his head had grown alot by the top part growing and

there also became a gap at the strap where there was none initially. She made

adjustments so now there is no gap again. It seems to fit, I just hope so, this

is so new to me, not sure what is normal. Thanks so much for the advice!

> I would insist on getting it adjusted in the next day or two. If there is a

ridge there is too much pressure at the opening, and that is why it is shaping

the head. You don't need another problem to correct (smoothing out this ridge).
