Trevor, Hi to you in Ireland. My grandmother was born in Ireland and

hope to visit the " emerald isle " this fall or spring.

You're not too old. There are plenty of us " older folks " with braces.

I'm 62 and will be having surgery on 23rd. My problem is different then

yours (lower jaw too far back), it's very individual. Each case is

different.

I'm not sure if your national health insurance pays for this surgery or

not. Here in the US orthognathic surgery is pretty expensive, if our

health insurance doesn't cover it.
