Hi my fav Caboose!

Maybe it is the moisturizer. Sometimes the trauma from your recent

surgery can temporarily sensitize your skin. Try not using the

moisturizer for a few days and see if the rash clears up. You'll

probably be able to go back to using it once your fully healed.

Sometimes your body just sensitizes itself to a product (whether its

a lotion, soap, perfume, detergent, medications, etc) even if you've

used it for years.

Aren't we both a sight! You with your rash and swelling and me with

my lopsided swelling (my right side is almost normal and the left is

still a chipmunk cheek) and Bell's palsy. I can't move the left side

of my face at all and my left eye doesn't really close. The facial

nerve comes out right around the TMJ so it's not uncommon to have

some temporary facial paralysis after joint surgery. Too bad it's

not Halloween! Haha.
