Guest guest
Angel, I used flash cards to help communicate with people so I didn't have to keep writing the same things over and over. I also had some stick it notes at hand so I could write other stuff down i.e where the pain was, what I wanted to drink etc. lovingstevie4ever wrote: Picked up a couple of helpful hints this week and thought I'd pass them along. 1. Make flash cards of frequently used words and phrases. Examples: I'm hot; I'm cold; I'm hungry; I'm thirsty; I'm in pain; Hello; I love you; I need a hug; etc. You get the idea. This will make it easy to communicate without having to write everything again and again. I'm planning to make several on cardstock and fasten them together so that I can just flip through them. 2. s Soup at Hand. I haven't tried it, but I've been told that it's very thin because it meant for drinking straight out of the cup instead of eating with a spoon. This may be old news to some of you, but I thought it was worth sharing. Hope it helps! Angel
