Guest guest
I do the EXACT same thing with these " psychotic " body comparisons (that's how I feel about them.) I bet the majority of us do, unfortunately. Who the hell are we competing with, I wonder? Maybe it's just yet another avenue to practice some self-flagellation, I wonder some more? ::big sigh:: It's absurd because I am sure intellectually we realize that despite similar heights, we will carry varying poundages much differently, BUT STILL, when I read that a certain person who stands a certain height weighs a certain number, which is different from mine, it makes me a little nutso. I struggle with it all the time. I know there is the possibility of reaching some kind of peaceful resting place, in my head, with all this " stuff " , so I just inch my way along and hope I get " there " some day.
