Guest guest
Just got home from the dr. he took out the drains!!! YIPPEEE!!!! they were so painful to me. I have hardly any pain from the surgery itself. If it wasnt for the drains i would say this surgery was not that bad at all compared to the RNY. I am not going to have a rock hard tummy and will still have some softness but that is fine with me. I did not want pain from muscle repair. I am so happy to be rid of that 15 lbs of hanging flesh in front of me!! It is odd i still feel like it is there...ghost thing going on??? open RNY 01-22-01 Dr. Elliot Goodman NJ Lower body 09-29-03 Lift Dr. A. Guest guest
Wow, I found the same thing after my abdominal reconstruction. I spent at least six months feeling like it was still there. I kept having to put my hand on my tummy to remind myself that it was gone. After a year, it only happens occasionally. I told only a few people about it, but several of them looked at me kind of funny so I quit telling. Barbara Jean Re: Digest Number 2605 > Just got home from the dr. he took out the drains!!!
