Guest guest Posted November 11, 2002 Report Share Posted November 11, 2002 Hello , The only restaurant where we go is Shogun on Pacific avenue. + Excellent Japanese cuisine, with low risk of contamination (no restaurant is completely free of contamination risk), some of the staff is responding well to inquiries about gluten intolerance, and I do bring my own bottle of tamari. - noisy place, waiting time except early or late in the week. I have given up on restaurants in Santa Cruz area, we enjoy great healthy meals in great places in SF instead, and the staff is ususally more aware and more friendly than in Santa Cruz. Good luck!
