Guest guest
Hi Kate, Thanks for your kind reply. I'm not on the board too much these days, so I'm a little slow at posting replies sometimes. Things were definitely frustrating, but after talking with my OS on the phone and in person during a good long appointment, i'm feeling better about my joint pain, since I understand a bit better now WHY i'm in pain That makes it all much more bearable, no more using my overactive imagination to panick about things having gone wrong hehe. But yes, I agree with you, my orofacial myologist is sooo helpful!! I've been doing exercises for tongue thrust with her, and a lot of the strengthening and stretching of muscles has been really helpful just in surgery recovery I think. I'd probably go even if it weren't for the tongue thrust issue! My therapist is currently booking new clients in for november (that seems crazy to me, but she says that she is one of only THREE in all of Canada. wow!) Hopefully yours will be able to fit you in a little sooner than that though, and start helping you too! - > Oh, ... > I'm sorry things are so frustrating for you!
