Guest guest
Sara, Yes, if what he says holds up, then it surely will be a dream come true. He even said talking will be no problem either. I asked him this several times to make sure I understood him clearly. Of course he hasn't done the mock surgery yet, so no telling what will be the final outcome. My OD did a mock surgery a few weeks back and still feels I will be having exactly what you had. So time will tell, I will just have to wait it out. My OS stated he may call me in next week to do more impressions, so at this point in time, I will do whatever it takes just to get all of this over with. I am almost at that 10 day pre-op point where you said time starts going by quicker. I can't wait because these days are just dragging by and my patience is dwindling! By the way, did your OS give you any prescriptions to fill pre-op? My OS didn't give me anything and stated that I will be pumped with antibiotics at the hospital along with steroids and pain killers. He did state that he would send me home from the hospital with prescriptions. In my previous surgeries my surgeons always gave me the prescriptions to fill pre-op so I would have them when I got home. Have a Great Evening! > , > > sounds like your OS visit went very well!
