Guest guest
Hello all, I'm about 5 months on the diet, just got back from 3 weeks of wedding and honeymoon (!), and am doing OK considering that though not breaking SCD diet, I did have an occasional glass of white wine, some fruit and raw vegetables along the way--all of which are still too advanced. As a result I've been bloated almost the whole time, with a couple of really rough food-related emotional days. yuck. Now I'm working my way back to very simple diet. I have a question-- I am convinced that I am struggling with a pretty serious yeast issue, and would like to educate myself more about it. Looking at the various books on Amazon, it's hard to tell which might be useful--I'm looking for a reference beyond the usual " eat whole grains, reduce sugar, etc. " I'm looking for a book rather that delves into the science behind the issue, different ways of dealing with persistent/chronic yeast issues, and goes beyond basic education about reducing sugar intake and the pseudo-science that goes with so much of this stuff. If any of you have a book you'd recommend as a fellow SCD'er, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks,
