concentrated sugars- is there a limit to honey?

I've read a few posts about how certain things are illegal, because the sugar

would be too concentrated. (I think it was coconut sugar and beet sugar.) This

makes me wonder about consuming too much honey. Granted, I know that too much of

anything is bad for you (legal or not), but can too much honey be detrimental to

your healing?

I try and stay away from honey for the most part, because I'm definitely a sugar

addict, and even though it's not illegal, I still get similar effects from honey

that I did when I was eating a lot of sugar. I find it can be really addictive

and it definitely increases my appetite. Anyways, what are your thoughts on

this? I don't ever remember reading in BTVC about limiting honey, but I could

just not be remembering correctly. I don't plan on eating a ton of honey

anyways, but when I do have honey, I often go overboard. (I'm getting really

embarrassed here about admitting all my food addictions! Oh well, I'm human I

guess, and at least I'm trying to do something about it!)

I know there can be issues with candida, but nobody specifically mentioned that

being the problem with concentrated sugars, so I'm assuming it's for another

reason. Anyone know why? Just curious about this.

Thanks!

Amber
