Hi, we had a Hanger band for my son . It was really the only option for us locally so it was really our only choice. Though I did chose to travel to a further away location to see an ortho with more experience than the first one I saw. It seems that the skill/experience of the ortho is very important. Overall I am very pleased with the helmet my son had, it fit very well from the beginning and he had very fast correction. our ortho seemed very knowledgeable and helpful when I had concerns. I have to admit I was a bit concerend also because of not hearing much talk about the hanger bands. I've read a lot about DOC bands vs starbands, but it doesn't seem like people talk about Hanger bands very much. Hanger is the closest to me and probably the one we're going to go with... I'm just curious what others experiences are. What are the pros and cons of Hanger bands?Thanks, ( & , 5.5 months with torticollis and plagiocephaly)
