My biggest baby is the biggest dog. She is a black and tan coon hound.

I have found scars on her and even one that to me looks like a car

cigarette lighter scar. I don't know if that is actually what it is or

not. But we have been so good to her and she absolutely loves us.

Especially me for some reason. She is huge, at least for me. She

weight 66 pounds and if you don't know what a black and tan coon hound

looks like, her body looks just like a fat doberman with a long curled

tail and her head had long droopy ears. But the best thing, is that I

found out the other night that she would be very protective of me. My

husband came home from work at 11:30. He was wearing all black which he

never does except for work and Minnie (the coon hound) did not recognize

him. We were standing in the front room inside the screen door. She

was furious and was trying her hardest to get out after him. I really

think that if she had not recognized who he was she would have attacked

him if he tried to get into my house. I like knowing that she is there

to protect me when he is working. Our neighborhood is a good one, but

it is just on the edge of one that is not.

Wow Dora!!! That's so great to hear. Since we are foster parents I

thought...go alittle further and lets foster pets too! Well I ended

up keeping my big baby but if we can clear more land I am thinking

of doing it full-time...rescuing!

Hugs, in AL.
