Guest guest
I have been through a battery of tests and they cannot seem to figure out what is causing my low pelvic burning pain and loose bowels. Have had CT's, MRI's, ultrasounds, and a colonoscopy. Don't have the results of the colonoscopy until 6/30 but everything else was normal except for an abscess off the right ovary. I am wondering about intestinal endometriosis. I have all the symptoms...diarrhea and pain. Anyone have any experience with this? Will be discussing surgery at my 6/30 appointment. Guest guest
Hey , I'm curious about what your symptoms are. I figured it would be a better idea to ask here than FB . Guest guest
I have had a constant burning type of pain in my pelvic area and loose bowels. I went on depo-provera shots and the pain isn't as bad as it was when I was menstruating. I have had colonoscopies and camera capsule endoscopies along with pelvic ultrasounds, cat scans and mri's. They cannot find anything colon related nor female related except for a " resolving " abscess off the right ovary. I was diagnosed with IBS last summer but I don't believe it. No one that I know of with IBS has burning pain constantly and they don't have diarrhea every single day. I am seeing another specialist and just had another colonoscopy last Tuesday and will find out the biopsy results on the 30th. I am hoping they say the Crohn's is not present(it was fine last November)and then that will mean they will finally agree to surgery. I have been through three different doctors. And when they wouldn't find anything, they would refer me to someone else. Well, I am at the end of the line now...my current GI said if we don't see anything on the scope then we would be discussing surgery. Not that I want surgery but I just want the pain to stop and my bowels to get back to normal. I have stayed on SCD because I think that is why my scope last November was normal, although I cheated from time to time back then (I became fanatical about SCD on 4/1/10). I am just at my wits end with tests and no results. I am ready for surgery if it means I will finally have answers and hopefully a resolution! > > > > I have been through a battery of tests and they cannot seem to figure out what is causing my low pelvic burning pain and loose bowels.
