Guest guest
Hey everyone, I have an appointment with my surgeon on Oct. 8th. I haven't seen him in over a year. I have a lot of scar tissue and adhesions that were found while I was having another surgery not related to WLS. There is no surgeon around here that will remove them because they are not sure of WLS and do not want to make things worse. This is fine so I called my doctor. I also explained to the nurse practitioner that I have gained 40lbs and was on steroids for a while. She immediately said that I may have to have a revision. I have a horrible time losing weight and I am able to eat way too much. I am 2 years out. Has anyone heard of a revision for a lap RNY? I know this is a tool but I CAN'T lose ANY weight! Any advice would be greatly appreciated. You can also e-mail me personally. Thank you, Sansone
