Guest guest
Hi, Leila mentioned that there was another adopted baby who needed a helmet/band. I think I found his story on the CT's website. This is the link http://www.cranialtech.com/index.php?option=com_content & view=article & id=288:sams\ on-d & catid=45:parent-testimonials & Itemid=89 Hope it helps Tatiana > > HI ALL...... > > New to this GROUP...I have Questions! > > Anyhow we just adopted a cutie from China. Guest guest
Hi, I can't see using surgery to correct headshape unless the skull is prematurely fused and surgery is necessary. I would go to Cranial Tech for a consultation, they seem to have the best record with older babies. At 16 mo you can still get correction, also you may see your baby growing quite a bit now that she is in your home (better environment). I would move quickly to maximize results. quite a few babies start treatment over 1 yr, but 16 mo is getting to the older range. Cranial Tech generally will band before age 2, but look at things on a case by case basis. Some orthos will only band until 18 mo. -christine sydney, 4 yrs, starband grad > > HI ALL...... > > New to this GROUP...I have Questions! > > Anyhow we just adopted a cutie from China.
