Guest guest
Just do one piece of bread, butter side down and a piece of cheese, when it's done, fold it in half, LOL :-) (who's favorite pre-op food was a grilled cheese sandwich, but can't eat them anymore) Open RNY June 4th, 2002 Cleveland Center for Bariatric Surgery Dr. Sonpal 285/140/where ever my body decides to stop!! ..>>>>> I'd love to make a sandwich at home...but does anyone have a suggestion on how to make a half-grilled cheese without getting cheese everywhere? Guest guest
I have a toaster oven. I put in a slice of bread, and put a slice of cheese on top. Toast it until the cheese puffs up. I have gotten to where I prefer this over actual grilling. Jac http://www.pictureitdigitaldesigns.com/ http://members.cox.net/XXXFARMPAINTS mail to: jholdaway@... Guest guest
My fav. toasted cheese is mayo, tomatoes on top of wheat bread topped w/mozarella (sp) and sprinkled w/oregano - brown under broiler until cheese is melted. YUM!! I haven't had it in ages. Thanks Diane LAP RNY 9/99 > Yummy. Guest guest
*LOL* Hey this thread has gotten in my system so much ... I went back to work last Monday. Today my Creative Writing Class " warm up " was to describe their favorite food without naming it. ... and I ended up asking them about their comfort foods. It was a riot. You may take part of the tummy out of the lady but you can't take away the interest in food. hehehehe.
