Guest guest
Good Morning Dee, You know I think about it now and the hospital never did keep ice packs on me while I was there. I only had one ice pack and that was the one that I had when I woke up. I was so out of it to even think to ask for another one. So maybe that had something to do with it. Yes that breathing was not fun the first week. My OS had me doing breathing exercises the first 2 weeks. I had to take a deep breath in & hold for a few seconds and release. I would do this many times throughout the day. This helped to expand the lungs. I was originally supposed to have the SARPE & then the Lefort 3- piece. I am now wondering if this is what should of been done because I have been told that my upper palate was not widened during this past surgery and I still have a crossbite. I never did get creative with the blender. It has only been used for smoothies and shakes. I have been eating mashed potatoes, rice dishes, soup, jello, yogurt, etc...Although I am getting tired of all of these and may just begin to experiment with the blender.
