Guest guest
Halley, I had the worse stomach problems that started about day 5. I am sure it was because the change in my diet to liquid/soft foods. I was actually okay on just the liquids, it wasn't until I started adding some soft foods. It did start getting better in a few days without anything, but it was miserable those few days that it lasted. Yes, I have also had the breathing problems. You really need to take deep breaths, hold it in for a few seconds and let out. Do this many times throughout the day. This exercise my OS told me will help expand the lungs and avoid pneumonia or any other upper respiratory problems. It felt like it took everything out of me to breathe at times. This lasted for about 7 to 10 days after surgery and the breathing exercises surely helped. Hope this helps, --Caboose > Hi, > My surg date was 7/21 (Thurs) and I had upper/lowerer/genio.
