Guest guest
Hi Beth! I am well known at my orthos as a clean freak. I admit that this is new for me, but since I have had braces, I have had no patience for the least amount of crap in my teeth. For the most part, it comes down to the tools you use. This is what I use: 1. Sonicare ultrasonic toothbrush. Awesome. Times your brushing too. 2. Dental " tape " floss. grabs plaque better than anything else. 3. Proxa Brush. Great for between brackets! 4. Waterpic. use on a low setting. Great for removing impacted food. 5. Water. for when you cant brush right away. just rinse. I hope that helps! Guest guest
Hi Beth! That is correct. Smaller more portable versions are often available at drugstores near the toothpaste. Guest guest
What about one of those little brushes, I think it is called an interdentla or interproximal brush? Flossing is really important because if the gums get inflamed then it is harder to move the teeth.
