Guest guest
Does anyone have an idea on why I cold swett? I get 1-2 "attacks" a week, usually in evening. I am sitting and watching TV and suddenly start to sweat but I am not warm. My face is cold. Have had this for several months now...kariannescd 11 months
Guest guest
When my crohn's is really active I sweat almost constantly, with it literally running in rivulets down the inside of my arms; often its accompanied by cold shivers. I can't explain the exact physiology of it but many people with IBD run low-grade fevers as a result of all the inflammatory signalling the body produces and I think of it as being akin to sweating when you have a fever. I find it a useful indicator of disease activity, although its a lagging indicator in that I feel better overall before the sweating goes away. fiona > > > > Does anyone have an idea on why I cold swett? > > I get 1-2 " attacks " a week, usually in evening.
