But it won't hurt you to take too much; it's just that you'd be spending more money than necessary if you " overdose. " There is definitely more than one test for B12. The first one you mention is a B12 serum (blood level) test, judging from the normal range you quote. Not sure what the other one is. I have had, in addition to B12 serum tests, a B12 binding capacity test, but the normal range on MY labs is listed as 650-1340, not 199-732. So maybe there's a 3rd test.
