Guest guest
Hi all. I've been using Yogourmet starter for 4 yrs and as a sub. I tried a greek yogurt at the market. I liked the way it turned out - much thicker and not as tart. Does anyone know of a legal starter yielding the same results ? I must say that we didn't suffer any effects from the illegals but prefer to use a compliant one. Thanks, CD - 5 yrs SCD - 4 1/
Guest guest
Fage Total Greek yogurt, full fat is great. It does not have acidolpholus though but not as tart and very thick especially if dripped. It's legal. Check the 2% or 0% fat version though--not sure it's legal and it drips a lot of water; a lot more tart. But with Fage and 1/2 n 1/2--it's a great combination for desserts or salad dressing imho.
