Guest guest
First let me apologize for using my boyfriend's screen name, I don't have much time for computers so I never created my own name. I am in need of a little information and I was wondering if anyone here has found themselves in my situation. I am 17 months post op, and about 6 weeks pregnant, I know this is going to get me a few posts about responsibility, but accidents do happen, and this is one of them, I got careless, what can I say. I am hoping that among those posts, there might be one from someone who has found themselves in the same situation and is willing to share their experiences, it would be even greater if this person is from Miami and could recommend an OBGYN who is somewhat familiar with the bypass surgery. I plan on calling the doctor that did my bypass to see if he recommends anyone, but it would be nice to find one that a mom to be or new mom has been or is familiar with and likes. From the bypass I am at my goal already, my problem as I see it with the pregnancy now is that I am still having a hard time eating much meat or very solid foods, if I eat meat or poultry at any meal, that is my last meal of the day because it sits in my pouch all day long and takes forever to get rid of the full feeling, so I'm worried about proper nutrition for the baby. So please, if anyone can offer some helpful information I would be much thankful to them.
