Guest guest Posted September 21, 2003 Report Share Posted September 21, 2003 O.k., I've started adding more " real " food and good carbs... fruits and veggies and oatmeal to my repetoire. I got on the scale and I dropped.... are you ready..... 3.5 pounds!!!! I'm ecstatic! I haven't been below 200 in so many years I can't remember. What I want to know, if anyone does know, why is it I have to add the carbs to lose the weight? Everyone else does well on mostly protein. Confusion is a normal state for me, but this is more than confusing. Oh, and I have an appt. with an endocrinologist on Monday to see why I've been feeling so awful... tired, cold, pick up every virus that's floating around, etc. Wish me luck.
