Hey guys! I posted a few weeks ago when I was panicking after my

surgery..lol, thanks again for all your words of wisdom. I am

surviving :] Anyway, I'm 4 weeks post op today, and I was just

wondering about how long does it take to SERIOUSLY look normal

again..I know it takes up to a year for everything to heal, inside and

out, and that I look " decent " enough to show my face in public..but

when does all that (personally) noticeable puffiness go away? I had

lower and upper advancement, and it kind of made my nose puffy which

is slowly going down, but I can still feel the swelling around my

whole sinus area. When I smile, I feel like my cheeks are packed with

cotton or something..like everything just kind of bunches up. I'm also

waiting for the day that I can rub my lips together..(ladies, like

when you are putting on lipstick/chapstick?) I know it's different for

everyone, but is it normal to have this kind of swelling still? I'm

probably just being anxious. also....skeletal wires are freaking me

out...anyone who has had these removed..does it hurt? my os said he

would just " pull them out " and I wouldn't even notice? That's madness.

oh, and two more random questions..anyone who had their upper jaw

moved forward, did your top lip seem to get smaller? I'm wondering if

it's just from swelling..or if this is my new lip. And finally, anyone

who has the time to put something this silly into words for me..please

go ahead..question is when you say the letter " s " ..is the tip of your

tongue touching any teeth? or just the sides? or what. wow I'm going

to stop typing now. This is already too long. THANKS YOU GUYS!! Good

luck to everyone!!! :D
