Guest guest
Hi , I was just thinking about you this morning wondering how you were doing. My OS informed me on Tuesday that I may be having the same procedure as you. He is trying to avoid segmenting the jaw in 3 pieces. I will know for sure next week after he performs the mock surgery. He is hopeful that I won't have the splint or bands either after surgery. I don't look forward to the penicillin. YUCK!! Hang in there because you are almost done with it. The exhaustion is to be expected because your body has been through major surgery. I know after my sinus surgery I was exhausted for 2 weeks. I just couldn't get out of bed. Losing only 5 lbs. is great news! To much weight loss is not good for recovery. Hang in there! You are doing great and each day will get better. > I can't believe its already day 5!
