Individual Insurance

Does anyone here have Individual Medical Insurance instead of the

regular Medial Insurance offered through their job. I was wondering if

it work differently than the Insurance offered trough your Job. Thank

you for any feedback you guys may have..

I do not currently have individual instead of group insurance, but I

did in the past. It basically is the same policy, major medical is

major medical whether through group or individual. The only

difference I noticed was being accepted. Individual policies while

initially applying for the insurance can often times be denied due

to " pre-existing conditions " while group policies through an employer,

are always accepted, not subject to the whole " pre-existing

conditions " thing. Hope this helps.
