Guest guest
Hi there (?)- I wanted you to know that you are not alone! I have gone through some periods of hair loss too, but have managed to bounce back pretty well. Although I'd say those days of thick full hair in high school are long gone... I have also had problems with arthritis and plantar faciitis- they seem so random- they both just popped up out of no where. The arthritis reared it's ugly head when I was about 23. It was so bad I couldn't walk. I took Vioxx for it (ha ha! that drug was recalled!) and it went away. Luckily no problems since. Now I am 35 and just a few months ago I came down with an ugly case of plantar faciitis. Same deal- so bad I couldn't walk... I wore a night brace and iced/stretched heavily for about a month and poof! It's gone. I like to think of these incidences as part of the roller coaster ride of Crohn's (these are just a few of the " wonderful " effects I've experienced with the disease and being on long-term prednisone). One thing I am looking forward to with this diet is treating MY WHOLE BODY and not throwing remedies at all of the little problems! -Joanna SCD 9/2009, Crohn's 1992, 25mg Prednisone > > > Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum.
