Hello, Fran - So, how did the call to the OD go on Monday? Are you

getting your braces on as soon as I am? I hope we will be " ortho

buddies " - it will be nice to have someone to go thru all this with.

I get my brackets and spacers on July 26th and my archwires and

bands on August 9th. My OD wants to ease me into the braces because

I have jaw issues (noisy and painful joints) and he thinks I'll have

an easier time getting used to them if I get them in two steps. My

appointment with my OMS is still on for July 18th, although I remain

hopeful for a cancellation so I can see him earlier. ~~~ Diane
