Guest guest
Hi there, I have a question regarding a funny tilt in my son's head, and I was hoping someone could help me. He's now 13 months, and after wearing a DOC Band for 2.5 months for plagio, he graduated last September. A cuple of weeks ago he started titilng his head towards the right, which he does momentarily and with a slow paced movement. He does this several times a day. It might be a coincidence but when we had his assesment at CT in Paramus, they found out that the right side of his neck was tight, and we were stretching it for as long as the treatment went on. I told my son's pediatrician about this yesterday, thinking that his neck/shoulder might be the tight again... The doctor said that it's probably just a little tic that will go away in time, but if it becomes very frequent we might considering seeing a neurologist. I was wondering if anyone in the group might have any experience with movements like this, and if you have any tips to help correct them. Thank you very much.
