Post-op, splint removed, now banded. What's next?

It's a little over two weeks since my op (lower advancement, rigid

fixation) and one week since my splint was removed. Since then I've

been banded on both sides. I'm amazed at the speed of recovery.

My swelling is completely gone and my jaw can now open aprox. 80-85%.

Talking is no problem and I'm even managing to eat more or less

normally. My chin and lower lip are still numb.

To anyone who is further down the road then I am can you tell me just

how long I can expect to be banded for and how much alteration was

accomplished by the bands? My bite is vastly improved but there is

still a slight tilt to one side.
